Walead Beshty is an artist and writer living and working in Los Angeles. He holds a B.A. from Bard College and an M.F.A. from the Yale University School of Art. He has had significant solo exhibitions at a number of museums and galleries in the U.S. and Europe including Wallspace and P.S. 1 in N.Y., the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington, D.C., The Armand Hammer Museum in Los Angeles and the Rodolphe Janssen Gallery in Brussels, Belgium. He is a regular contributor to Texte zur Kunst and Afterall Journal, and has written for Artforum, Aperture, Art Review, and Art on Paper, among others. He is currently an Associate Professor at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. |
